Lifespan of leather belts

People love our belts. They're stylish, comfortable, durable, and eye-catching; and there are designs for everyone. It's no wonder we are one of the leading suppliers of premium polo inspired belts. But one question that people often ask is "how long do leather belts normally last?" We have decided to write this journal to put that question to rest for good. If you're looking to find out how long normal leather belts last, and more importantly, how long pampeano belts last, you're in the right place. So read on, discover, and be inspired.
beltsSo how long do leather belts usually last? Well, the answer is not as simple as you might think.

The main way that leather belts change over time is that they expand. This is due to the nature and make-up of the leather - over the years, it slowly expands and loosens. This suits many people just fine, as humans tend to grow wider as we grow older! But for many people, they find their belts loosening and no longer fitting over the years. The solution to this is simple - you can punch new holes in any leather belt to suit the changing shape of the belt - or indeed, the wearer. And a pampeano belt is no different: if you find the belt expanding over the years, don't be scared to punch a new hole or two. You could add years to your belt! In fact, if you do this, there's no reason why a premium pampeano belt will not last a lifetime.

However, a pampeano belt is no ordinary belt. Where we stand apart from your average leather belt bought on the high street or even from designer brands, apart from our top quality leather and devotion to handmaking all of our premium goods in our home of Argentina, is our striking vibrant patterns made up of high quality wax-dipped saddlery threads. These are sturdy and reliable, and are unlikely to need repairing. However, if you happen to snag one of the threads while scrabbling up a rock face, playing a high octane game of beach volleyball on a pebbled beach, or on a thornbush on a long countryside walk, we do offer a repair service to make those threads look as good as new. Just get in touch with us and we'll arrange it all, and your pampeano belt will look as good as new in no time.

The only other part of any belt which could go wrong is the buckle. We use hardy brass buckles which rarely break, but just in case something goes wrong, and your buckle breaks within 12 months, we will send you a new buckle free of charge for you to get fitted with your local leather merchant or cobbler. If it's been longer than 12 months, get in touch anyway and we'll see what we can do.

As you can see, we pride ourselves on ensuring a premium polo inspired pampeano belt is a purchase for life. That way, instead of replacing your belt each year, you can add to your collection with a new design from our exclusive online collection, or even design your own. We hope you've been inspired, and any worries you may have had have been put to bed.
