'Moneda' Coin Wallet - Navy Leather

The Moneda Coin Wallet is an elegant accessory which goes with any outfit or occasion. It is perfectly sized so that it can easily be carried in jean and jacket pockets whilst possessing a generous capacity to carry all of your essentials.

The left-hand side of the wallet’s interior holds four credit card slots and a full size slip pocket which has been placed behind the card slots; perfect for stowing away important documents. The right hand side of the wallet houses a coin pouch, which is secured with an antique brass coloured press stud. Another full sized slip pocket can also be found behind the coin compartment for added storage. At the top, you will find two full length compartments which can fit notes of most currencies. The centre divider allows you to organise receipts easily.

Further to the practicality and thoughtful design of the Moneda coin wallet, is the unparalleled quality. The leather is A-grade, hand selected by highly skilled craftsman is South America. The rich, navy colour is achieved through a long and complex tanning process which uses natural vegetable dyes. This is what gives the leather its butter-soft and supple handle, which only improves with time as the leather warms and ages. Completing this wallet, is luxurious soft layer of genuine suede which lines each and every pocket of the wallet’s interior. The suede has been selected in pampeano’s signature Bandera blue which echoes pampeano’s roots in Argentina, with colours inspired by the flag. The contrast in colour and texture between the leather and suede as the wallet is opened is utterly awe-inspiring, and truly sets this piece apart from anything else.

As if this wallet could not get any better, the front has been hand embroidered with the iconic pampa diamond which pampeano is so well known for. This method of stitching can only be achieved by hand and is native to master artisans in South America. It is a traditional practice that is passed down within their families for generations. A single length of vibrant saddlery thread has been wax-dipped and meticulously woven into the leather. This is the first time that this practice has been incorporated onto wallets and other small leather goods as the technique has been innovated from pampeano’s world renowned leather polo belts.
